TheRajiv Gandhi International Airport  airport had received clearance from the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority to increase the UDF by Rs 100 per domestic passenger and Rs 875 from international passengers, effective November 1.

The differential UDF will be collected before issue of boarding pass from those passengers who have not been charged the additional UDF as a part of the ticket issued to them by airlines/agents from November 8, said a press release.

Earlier, it collected Rs 375 from a domestic passenger and Rs 1,000 from international ones (inclusive of service tax). The UDF would be used for development, management, maintenance, operation and expansion of facilities at the airport, the release added.
